What happens during a coworking with childcare session
A session is three hours. Parents book online through Famly, choosing one of three daily blocks: 09:00–12:00, 12:15–15:15, or 15:30–18:30, Monday to Saturday.
You arrive together. Your child is handed to their key Educator in the Studio. You walk ten metres to the workspace and start your session: desk, coffee from Notes, and three hours before pickup. There's no commute in between and no childcare logistics eating into the working day.
At the end of the block, you collect your child from the same Studio, with the same Educator, that they saw at drop-off. Same faces each session, same room, same routine. That consistency is deliberate: it's a key person model, so your child isn't adjusting to a different Educator every time you book.
What it costs
KindHaus runs on a Studio system, priced by how many sessions you book per week:

Studio Two (2 sessions/week): £390/month
Studio Three (3 sessions/week): £585/month
Studio Four (4 sessions/week): £780/month

Each Studio tier includes childcare, workspace access, and coffee. Families with more than one child get 20% off the second and third child's fees.

Is this basically a nursery?
Not quite, though the comparison is a fair one to draw. A traditional nursery operates as a standalone site: you drop off, commute to work elsewhere, then commute back. KindHaus places the workspace and the Studio in the same building, so there's no commute between the two.
The childcare side still meets the standards you'd expect from any registered setting. The Studio operates under the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), the same statutory framework that governs every registered nursery and childminder in England. Sessions are led by qualified Educators working to a key person model, and the approach is Froebel-informed rather than following a fixed curriculum.
Do I need to be a member?
No. Adhoc sessions at KindHaus are available at £55 each, subject to availability, with no monthly commitment. A Studio tier makes sense once you know which sessions you want on a recurring basis, but it isn't a requirement to use the space.
How KindHaus compares to other coworking with childcare spaces
